The Crampton family has a beautiful historic Victorian House that has been converted into spacious and private rooms to rent. The third floor has great views, and incredible deck as well.
We absolutely loved our stay at the Maple Shade, and would highly recommend it! The hosts are first class -- very knowledgeable about the area, extremely friendly and very warm and welcoming. The house has endless antiques and fascinating art/decor. Right across the street from "Dreams Park", which was perfect for us, and anyone attending for games. Short drive to downtown (Hall of Fame), and also to area attractions (Ommegang highly recommended). You'll be sure to enjoy this relaxing and comfortable villa with hosts Bert and Linda!
We loved our stay here, Robert was amazing. It is right across the street from Cooperstown park. We had an inground pool, BBQ grills, a fire outside for s'mores.. We were 6 families and we were super comfortable. Great stay
