I'm a regular of Maria's. Granted, it's a simple men's haircut but she always delivers the same results and I'm satisfied with the service and friendliness whenever I go.
i went for a simple womans haircut, nothing outrageous, just a simple bob. i ended up with a nightmare. theres weird layers all over, its not at all even on either side, the back looks likea mushroom and i cant even fix it because she cut it so short i would have to shave it to fix it. i was so devistated i payed and left. i called an hour later when i calmed down and the girl apologized and offered to refund me. i went back the next day for the refund to find out the girl never put me in the computer, there was no record of my haircut or transaction, and no one knows who the girl was that cut my hair( although the woman who refunded me told me i was overcharged, it was pocketed and the girl had been fired that day) well then the owner Joe called and argued with me about who cut my hair. i told him there were only 2 girls and one of them is here so ask her! so she said she doesnt remember who she worked with!!!! i couldnt believe what i was hearing. all in all, bad bad bad customer service, people that CAN NOT cut hair properly and an owner who is never there, no managers ever there, no supervision. do yourself a favor and go to a real salon. it maybe be a few dollars more, but you wont have to "wait till your hair grows in" so you can have it cut properly. he also owns the salon in the kmart plaza so beware!
All in all, just a really bad job.
The girl that cut my hair was really nice so I feel bad saying this, but she just couldn't get the layers right, so I had to ask her to stop.
Never been refused service before, I guess there is a first for everything. Arrived before just before closing, about 15 minutes, and was refused Because I didn't have an appointment. FYI, this is cost cutters not some NYC salon!
I went as an absolute last resort, now I am regretting it. My layers are now more uneven around my face than they were before, so my hair now just looks ridiculous.
horrible. worst haircut EVER!!!! dont ever come to this place.
