I've only had the car (2017 Legacy) for 6 hours now, but I love it and highly recommend Dan Perkins, Shelly, and George.

A really great experience. The whole process went very smoothly. Our salesman Elmer was the greatest!! He made us feel like we were his only customer. So patient and made sure we were completely happy with our purchase. Offered suggestions and even followed up after we picked up the car. Thanks Elmer!!

My biggest fear in buying a car is "the finance guy" - I dreaded going in and just wanted Shelly to take care of it! But George, "the finance guy", was awesome - didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need or want, explained everything in detail and got me in and out - couldn't have been easier.

Mike Gallio was professional, amicable and pretty much the reason I bought the car from Dan Perkins. Other dealers were similarly competitive, but talking with Mike and his candor made me buy a car from this dealership. Gabe and George also made the entire final purchase process smooth. I'd wholeheartedly recommend speaking to Mike if you are in the market for a vehicle.

Shelly, my salesperson, handled all the details of getting my trade-in and financing approved while dealing with my impossible schedule.

I purchased my Subaru forester from Dan Perkins about 8 months ago and am overall satisfied with the car. I received a coupon for a free maintenance and took my car in this morning to have the oil change. I also asked them to look at my battery as my regular mechanic said that it was testing weak. I was quite annoyed and disappointed that I was at the dealership for three and a half hours waiting for my car. I was originally called down after two hours and when I asked about how the battery was the mechanic look confused and told me that he forgot about the battery and it was a miscommunication between himself and the tech service desk. It took another hour plus for my car to finally be done. I was very appreciative that they changed my battery for me at their cost after waiting for three and a half hours.

I worked with Drew, George and Gabe. They were all WONDERFUL! The transmission went on my car and I was not expecting to be in the market for some time. I did a lot of research very quickly and went to Drew via the internet with all of my questions. He answered them all and was SUPER helpful, all via email and phone calls. I felt like the biggest pain in the butt. George explained all the financial and warranty and service agreement options to me better than ANYONE I have ever dealt with. Most of the time it's just brushed over, I see the monthly payment go up up up and say "No thanks I'm good!" He explained it all so I understood what I would be paying for and modified things as I asked so I could see the price difference. Gabe was awesome with the books and final delivery. We really enjoyed working with each of them. They were NEVER pushy and always fantastic. I will be a customer for a long time!

However when I got home today I noticed that the car would sputter and die when started up. It ended up being a simple fix that should have easily been recognized by the dealer when they changed my battery. Instead it was not and I was fortunate to have someone who understood what was going on to fix the problem for me. Overall I am quite annoyed to have gone and waited for three and a half hours to only receive more problems with the car then when I originally went this morning for a simple oil change and battery check.

I have purchased many vehicles at different dealerships in my lifetime, this was one of the best experiences though.

To add to the frustrations I have had, I have been in the process of trying to switch my residency from PA to Connecticut for some time now but have had nothing but troubles. The trouble is that when I bought a car from Dan Perkins my dad was just simply my cosigner. I make the payments and I put a down payment for the car. However Dan Perkins FORGOT to put my name on the title for my car. So not only have I had to go to the DMV multiple times to try and figure it out but I have also had to travel back to Pennsylvania a couple times to try and get the situation taken care of. All of this was very expensive and the issue is still not resolved. I have called Dan Perkins 6 times in the last two weeks and have not gotten a call back once about the situation. I would not recommend anyone buying a car from this dealership. This was my first car buying experience on my own and what a complete and total expensive mess it has been from Dan Perkins
